Black and White Border Collie Mix
Age: 6 Weeks
Weight:
Lilly was found hiding in the grass on the side of the road all by herself. When called, she came right to me, but her tail was tucked and she was shaking. She is medium energy and very sweet, friendly and naturally submissive. She will do best in a family with at least one other dog that is playful and can tolerate her youth and energy. She is easily frightened and will become fearful of any rough handling from dogs or children. She can be timid around loud noises, so exposure to busy places and loud noises will be critical to help avoid fear issues, and I’ve already begun this with her. She has a high pack drive, which means she can develop separation anxiety, but she will do well if she can be left with other dogs when the humans are away. She is quick to learn and will do well with learning obedience. She has been exposed to the leash and is doing well learning to walk on one. Lilly has been exposed to a crate, and she has yet to soil in it. She should be relatively easy to potty train, as she seems to naturally avoid soiling where she sleeps and eats. A large, fenced yard is desired. Lilly comes with a crate, bed, food dish and collar. She comes with a lifetime of free behavioral visits to help correct any problems, if the need should arise. Please contact Stacy Hulen or Tanya Hill to inquire about adoption.
