Insecure / Fearful Behavior

Fearful behavior often occurs for various reasons.

Some dogs may become fearful because of a traumatic experience early in life, was one of the weaker members of the litter, or are unable to identify clear leadership within the pack structure.

A pack can consist of 2 members or more. These members can be dogs, humans or other animals.

Make no mistake about it, your dog sees him/herself and your family as his/her pack. Understanding the structure and function of the pack can help an insecure dog gain confidence and security.

Insecure dogs take patience and consistency to rehabilitate, but it can be done!
